Silver Star Cafeteria
A bilingual online ordering system for a Dubai cafeteria — live menu, delivery zones and a running cart.
Project detail
The problem
Orders arrived by phone and WhatsApp, one at a time, during the busiest hours of service. Items sold out without the customer knowing, delivery charges were quoted from memory, and staff were taking payment details verbally.
What we built
A web ordering interface with the full menu split by category, live search, and a persistent order panel that totals as the customer builds it. Delivery zones carry their own pricing, so the charge is calculated rather than estimated. The whole interface runs in English and Arabic.
The result
- Customers order without occupying a staff member
- Delivery pricing is applied by zone, consistently
- Menu and availability update without a developer
